for the modern Administration

Amt24 supports the dialogue between science, economy and administration. As a cross-organisational network Amt24 comments on current trend subjects or long term challenges of modernising the IT-aided administration. In doing so, the network examines the subjects from a neutral perspective.

We are active in the following fields, amongst others:

Specialised lectures
Amt24 presents central results of its work in specialised lectures. At congresses and specialised events, representatives of the network give lectures. So, for example, the competence team "Administrative Procedure 2.0" has presented its ideas and suggested solutions to a broader professional audience at, amongst others, the Public Sector Parc Forum of the CeBIT, the dbb-congress "Neue Verwaltung”, the expert conferences administration informatics in Vienna and Coblenz, the Xinnovations and in the Best Practice Forum of the modern state.

Press relations
Amt24 advances subjects of eGovernment i.a. by means of a regular press work. Every year Amt24 communicates important developments in numerous notifications and is in regular contact with journalists and multipliers of the field.

EGovernment-Expert-Portal
The first expert portal for eGovernment is run by Amt24. The portal offers an extensive solution catalogue for the challenges of modern administration IT. Here, employees of the administration quickly find the right contact person and the appropriate solution. The portal’s offer is rounded off by best-practice examples, news and event announcements.

Events
Amt24 hosts its own events at regular intervals. At the beginning of the year Amt24 invites administrative employees, researchers and companies to the first meeting of the year. Together, the participants glance at the month ahead and discuss trends and innovations in eGovernment. Furthermore, the information event "IT Projects of the Berlin Administration", which has taken place annually since 2006, is a well established constant of the capital’s regional event calendar. Amt24 organises this event, in co-operation with the senate administration for internal affairs and sport in Berlin and the regional IT industry association. It offers companies an excellent opportunity to gain information about the Berlin administration’s future IT projects.

Trade-fair appeareances
Amt24 presents itself and its member organisations at relevant industry events. Whether with its own communal stand or as exhibitor of the capital region – Amt24 offers a comfortable and economical alternative to an individual exhibition stand, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. In the year 2011 Amt24 will definitely be at the CeBIT, the modern State and the dbb-congress "new administration".

Publications
Amt24 makes a contribution to the discussion of important problems with the publication of studies. Through fundamental research the network delivers the building blocks for the development of future solutions and enriches dialogue.
