Customer: German Bundestag
The classic procedure of the Administration of the German Bundestag in carrying out projects was supplemented by an organisation management procedure. This takes into consideration the special organisational requirements of the Administration of the German Bundestag in the settlement of projects and describes the collaboration of the offices involved. To be able to coordinate the great number of IT projects that regularly take place, a project service point was also set up in addition to the individual project organisation. The procedural method from the initialisation of IT projects to their assignment and execution, and right up to the completion of the project, was described in a way that was uniform, transparent and understandable. The conceptualised project portfolio management makes sure that - every project application is evaluated and prioritised (the evaluation criteria are based on the "Recommendation for the execution of feasibility studies in the Federal Administration - WiBe 21” - the distribution of resources between the various projects as well as between line organisation and project organisation are optimised and - that synergy effects between ongoing projects are recognised at an early stage and used to the maximum.
