New community features for the SEMIC.EU web portal
The "Semantic Interoperability Centre Europe", SEMIC.EU, has introduced a variety of new community features on its internet platform www.semic.eu. The new extensions are a further step for a pan-European data interchange in eGovernment.
All current registered users of SEMIC.EU can now set up personalised public profiles and contact each other via the platform. A novel data model development guide, "Asset Development Assistant", provides a checklist through which users can ask for coaching regarding specific issues of interoperability.
The content structure and navigation as well as the search functions of the website have been refurbished. An optimised quality assurance process supports the cooperative approach to developing interoperability solutions with its option to publish crude versions of these "interoperability assets".
