Cooperation between public and private institutions is becoming increasingly important for innovation. To do justice to this development Fraunhofer FOKUS launched the research group “Public Innovation”. The group is led by Prof. Dr. Knut Blind. In cooperation with the TU Berlin the expert will focus on innovation in the public sector and in public-private partnerships. The aim is to develop innovative solutions for the public sector in order to increase its efficiency. Blind holds the professorship for innovation economy at the Technische Universität Berlin and the chair for standardisation at the Rotterdam School of Management.
